How to care for your leather bag
For everyday cleaning of a leather bag, a dry white cotton cloth is enough. Once a year we recommend moisturising the leather* with a neutral moisturising cream*, because leather tends to dry out over time; after all, it is a natural skin, and if we want it to look better and not dry out, we need to moisturise it. A light layer of cream will nourish the bag and bring back its shine.
For stains, we recommend consulting a dry cleaner that specialises in leather.
*Leather: this applies to all leathers except suede, split suede (serraje), nubuck and reverse leather, which stain.
*Cream: you can use a neutral cream with no perfume of any kind (e.g. Nivea Soft, water-based cream), petroleum jelly or a special leather cream, available from any cobbler or supermarket. The cream must be neutral, colourless and fragrance-free.
