Smooth, oiled leather
This is the material you'll see most often on our bags. Clean it with a soft cloth and, every so often, nourish it with a cream made specifically for smooth leather: it restores the natural shine and stops it from drying out. To protect it from rain or stains, a waterproofing spray suitable for smooth leather is the simplest option.

Split leather and suede
Split leather and suede need different care: never use a nourishing cream on them, it can stain them permanently. To clean them, a specific eraser lifts off dust and surface stains without wetting the leather. They can also be protected from rain with a spray suitable for split leather and suede.

Linen, cotton and canvas
Linen, cotton and canvas bags are cleaned with a dry cleaning foam, also suitable for fabrics, with no need to wet them. Let the treated area dry fully before using the bag again.

Leather doesn't need moisturising often: once a year is enough, or whenever you notice it losing its shine and becoming dull or stiff. Use a cream or balm made specifically for leather, applied with a soft cloth in circular motions, and let it dry before using the bag. Avoid general-purpose or alcohol-based creams, which can damage the finish — if you're unsure which product to use, ask us before applying anything.
When you're not using your bag, store it stuffed with tissue paper or a fabric dust bag to help it keep its shape, in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and without plastic bags. If you have several bags, keep them apart so they don't rub against each other or lose their shape.
