Split leather and suede: clean it dry with a suede eraser and never use nourishing cream.

Linen, cotton or canvas: use a cleaning foam. If the description includes washing instructions, follow them.

A protector spray helps repel water and stains. Store the bag stuffed, in a cool, dry place, away from direct light.
